I’m Kaylee Smith, and Our Busy Family Days is a keepsake of ordinary family life. Nothing dramatic. Just the routines, the weeknight dinners, the days out, and the small rituals that make up a normal week with kids.
I’m not a parenting expert, and I don’t run a perfect household. Some weeks are organized. Most are not. What I noticed is that the good days blur together if I don’t write anything down, and the hard days feel less useful than they actually are. So I keep pages. What we ate. Where we went. What worked, and what we quietly gave up on.
Busy is not the same as full, and I forget which is which more often than I’d like. This site is mostly me paying attention. What actually helps a family week run smoother, what’s overrated, and what small habits are worth keeping.
Everything here is written by a real person, from a real house that runs a little late most mornings. No hacks presented as magic, no perfect systems, no filler.
